Jo Ann Fahlman

Jo Ann Fahlman was born in 1951 in Kindersley, Saskatchewan, and grew up in the Tisdale and Nipawin area, where she also raised her own family.

Fahlman turned her attention intensely to painting in 2013, and immediately began having success at exhibitions with the Void Gallery (Saskatoon), Regina Centre Crossing, Art Gallery of Regina, the Regina Federation of Artists, and the Hilltop Painters (a group which meets weekly at the Signal Hill Arts Centre in Weyburn).

Working in acrylic and watercolour, Fahlman depicts the prairie landscapes which are so familiar to her, as well as exploring impasto abstracts.

Jo Ann Fahlman works and lives near Weyburn, Saskatchewan.
