James Noel Wuttunee was born in 1926, on the Red Pheasant Reserve, near North Battleford, Saskatchewan. He was a Second World War veteran, serving with the 1st Canadian Paratroopers Battalion.
An an artist, Wuttunee worked in many forms, often turning to portraiture. His work is in the permanent collection of the Saskatchewan Indian Cultural Centre, Saskatoon.
